The
City of Show Low partners with
Renegy Corporation every holiday season to provide Christmas tree
recycling for the public. Drop off locations are set up around the area from
December 26th through the 2nd
week of January to accept and process discarded
Christmas trees. The recycled
trees will be ground and
transported to the
Snowflake White Mountain Power biomass plant where the material will be
used as fuel to
generate electric power. Residents from all over the White
Mountains are welcome to drop off their trees at
no charge. For more information, contact
Steve North at 532-4124 or
snorth@showlowaz.gov.
