In an
effort to ensure that Show Low and the White Mountains continue to be a
wonderful place to do business, to live, and to play, The City of Show Low
supports and promotes recycling activities throughout the area and works
with the Northeastern Arizona Recycling Committee to coordinate many of
those activities. The
Northeastern Arizona Recycling Committee was created in November 2007
and serves as an idea exchange and activity coordinator for northeastern
Arizona. Committee participants represent the Arizona Department of
Environmental Quality (ADEQ), Navajo County, Apache County, the City of Show
Low, the City of Holbrook, the Town of Snowflake, the Town of Taylor, the
Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, the White Mountain Apache Tribe, the Hopi Tribe,
area waste companies and interested citizens.
